Victoria Beckham spent over 8,000 on champagne in one night last week. The former Spice Girl enjoyed dinner with friends at the Ithaca restaurant in Manchester and her party made its' way through twelve 650 bottles of Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs champagne.
Victoria was treating her management team and 20 perfume consultants to a night out ahead of the launch of her new fragrance 'Signature'. Arnie Hira, owner of the Japanese restaurant, said: "Suffice to say that everyone said they had a great time at the restaurant and said they would definitely come again."
Victoria and her guests ate a selection of fine dishes including Chilean sea bass, Wagyu beef and soft shell crab.
The 34-year-old star - whose soccer star husband David used to play for Manchester United - reportedly chose the eatery after discovering Jay-Z and Kanye West were recent diners The day after her luxury meal, Victoria made an appearance at Harvey Nichols department store in Manchester where she greeted fans and officially launched the new fragrance.
As well as promoting her scent, Victoria also spoke about her new fashion collection, saying: "They're very sexy dresses.
Full-length frocks and bold colours - stuff that makes women feel good. I'm just showing it to a collection of magazine journalists and boutique retailers because I want to start off small and see what the reaction is. I really hope people will like it." The Beckham's 'Signature' brand perfume and aftershave are available now.

We've probably mentioned a few times on this blog that we love Posh Spice. She’s fierce, sassy, has way adorable kids and usually we can get behind whatever crazy outfit she pulls out of her closet.
However, on the other side of the love scale is, of course, the things we hate. And on this hate scale you’ll hit jumpsuits. So what do we do when someone we love wears something we detest so much?
Well, we just have to let it go—you can’t win every outfit.
But what happens if on the same day as the jumpsuit incident, this person wears a completely respectable white dress with a cute headpiece but attaches a polar bear rug to her back?
This is where it gets tricky...
Either we freak out and denounce any and all love for Posh until she wises up, or we remain calm and understand that she’s clearly testing our devotion to make sure we’re true followers of the Victoria Beckham way of life.
Of course, we're going to choose the latter. Now Posh knows we're in this thing for real.

Victoria Beckham has launched her new perfume 'Signature' this week and she headed back to Manchester, England to unveil the fragrance.
The Spice Girl launched her latest product at department store Harvey Nichols in the city, where she first met husband David Beckham.
"It was meant to be in London but I said no, I said please can I go to Manchester instead? I love Manchester, it's got a really good feel to it." Victoria told the Manchester Evening News.
"So I thought why not - I usually spend a lot of time in London. I'm really excited about coming back because, of course, it's where I met David."

VICTORIA BECKHAM has laughed off reports that she is eager for a fourth child - because she is far too busy looking after her three sons. The singer has spoken about her desire for a new baby in the past, but insists now is not the right time to add to her brood with soccer ace husband David. She says, "I can't even think about having another baby right now. The boys take up so much of my time.
"Life is busy in Los Angeles, because Brooklyn's got football, Romeo's got gymnastics and Cruz has break dancing. Plus they have school commitments." And the former Spice Girls singer has defended stars such as Angelina Jolie and Madonna for adopting tots to expand their families. She adds, "We really respect people who go through adoption, but it's not something we have considered as we have our hands full with the three children we do have!"

Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham are going head to head at New York Fashion Week.
The friends are both promoting clothing lines at the event, which begins on 5 September.
Katie will debut her Holmes-Yang range – designed with stylist Jeanne Yang – on the catwalk. Posh, 33, will be holding a private viewing of her new dVb collection.
Katie, 29, recently previewed one of her designs on the red carpet at the premiere of Tropic Thunder (below).
Mel B, 33, will also be at the shows representing Ultimo lingerie.

Poor Victoria Beckham; she must be spitting feathers as she's been upstaged by Mel B who is fast becoming a big hit in the US.
It looks like shaking her arse on Strictly Come Dancing or whatever nonsense it was, has tipped the scales in her favour.
Personally we reckon it was the Eddie Murphy babygate that did it. It's certainly not looking so rosy in Camp Becks as Victoria Beckham reckons herself to be the fashionista extraordinaire (cries into her Slimmer's Tea).
Aye a load of pants that is much like her beleagered DVB fashion line which incidentally has been cancelled because she isn't ready for it!
Now, Mel B being the curvy voluptuous type of lass that we like as opposed to walking pin and alleged diet pill addict, has no doubt been endorsing sexy lingerie. Shame that we'll have to keep ogling said spicey lass in her smalls for a bit longer!
Ultimo's founder Michelle Mone has asked Mel to unveil the new range at the New York Fashion Week. If she signs the deal it will hike her well up above Posh in the US fashion industry stakes. Mouthy Spice told the Daily Star Newspaper: "I am thrilled to be representing Ultimo at New York Fashion Week. I'm so passionate about Ultimo's designs and I can't wait for the crowd's reaction to what Michelle and the team will be sending down the runway."
We reckon it's all because Mel's tits look really as opposed to a couple of pudding bowls. Anyhow our humble opinions aside, what would we know!

Tom Cruise has reportedly been getting diet advice from soccer ace David Beckham.
The Top Gun star and his wife, Katie Holmes, became pals with Beckham when the footballer and his Spice Girl wife Victoria moved to Los Angeles last year.
And the actor is said to have shed 10 pounds in just six weeks with the sports star's help.
A source tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "David has been round at Tom's house a lot. While Katie and Victoria have been swapping fashion tips on the phone, David has been advising Tom on diet.
"Tom has a private gym at his home and David has been working out with him. He also gave him diet advice. Tom has been sticking to 1,200 calories a day, mostly grilled chicken and fish with lots of vegetables, salads and fruit.
"David put together a work-out regime that included the treadmill, weight training and fencing lessons together."
And the reason for the ageing actor's sudden health kick appears to be to do with his young family.
The source adds: "Tom had been steadily gaining weight. He didn't notice it at first but then he developed quite a paunch. He hated it when pictures started appearing of him with a belly and love handles.
"He turned 46 this summer and he's got a 29-year-old wife and a young family so he wanted to get back in shape."
